Today is Daddy's birthday! I have to plan a nice dinner and get a birthday cake.... hmm.
Today is my niece's ballet concert. I won't be able to attend due to prior commitments but my Dad is going and there will be a videotape of the whole performance. Feeling bad that I won't be able to attend.... there's nothing like seeing it in person. The video will have a whole different feel to it.
I spent the morning tidying up around the house. We got 2 new ladder-style shelves, which I wanted for months now.... really happy about that. They're still empty... haven't decided what to put on them yet.
The alarm is still NOT fixed! They were supposed to come this morning at 9am and didn't show up. How utterly unprofessional...... should it really be this much hassle???!!!! I'm seriously thinking of switching companies.
The stupid alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night. How's one to get a good night sleep? The company is sending someone over to fix it today. And I do hope they FIX IT!!!!!
It seems to be the norm for this week.... another hectic day at work! I swear all my work posts are practically the same. Busy.... blah,blah.... hectic... blah, blah.... I have so many loose ends to tie up by Saturday.... info swimming in my head, deadlines to meet, things to check & confirm! I feel like I'm going crazy! 0_o
insomnia! I woke up at 1:30am this morning and could NOT fall asleep. I think I eventually fell asleep for around an hour and then it was time to get up for work. In total I slept 3 hours....... feeling groggy and grumpy!
The hectic schedule from yesterday continues.... no time for the internet today. I had the BK Spicy Chicken wrap for lunch. It was nice..... definitely something I'll try again!
It looks like all the orders for our Christmas stock had the same idea to deliver the goods today. It's swamped at work today with perfumes, nail polishes, gift sets and shower gels. I still haven't had lunch yet.... already bought it... baked chicken with rice & peas. Sooo so hungry right now!
Since the move, we still had some boxes left to be sorted out. We spent most of the afternoon going through the boxes and packing them into the cupboards. They're all the kitchen stuffs... storage containers, dishes, wine glasses, utensils. Wow, I can't believe the amount of stuffs we're collected during the years. They're all new and in good condition so it's not like we could throw them away. I also found some rarely used kitchen utensils that I had forgotten about too.
There's a bazaar that I really want to go to.... but I can't cuz I have to work. :(
Anyways, I plan to sort out my Christmas decorations, buy new ones if needed. I want to put up the tree earlier this year. Every year I put up the tree late, then in no time I have to pull down the decorations.... can't get to "enjoy" the Christmas atmosphere as much.
